4/1/2007 - There have been several reports of pet food recalls from many different sources. In an effort to maintain consistent and accurate reports and reduce any misconceptions, the MKC Webmaster has elected to post the link to a single source of information from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration Pet Food Recall Information. There is a searchable list of all recalled foods on the FDA web site. See Details

There have been additional voluntary recalls by some manufacturers which are not found on the FDA site. For additional information, please check with your pet food manufacturer. There should be contact information and probably a web address on each original food container, or search for your pet food manufacturer on-line using your favorite search engine.
