Classes
Dear Dog Training Participant: Our training classes should be
fun for you and your best friend. You will be taught different methods
for achieving success with a major focus on positive training methods.
Here is what you need to do in order to assure success for both of you:
- 1) Come prepared to train. Have on comfortable clothing and
shoes appropriate for fast walking and running.
- 2) Have plenty of water for you and your dog, particularly on
hot days.
- 3) Bring treats for your dog. Hotdogs cut into skinny slices,
cheese, puperoni's or any other soft food that you can put in your
pocket is needed. Bring plenty! But make it small pieces. You will
be rewarding your dog, NOT feeding him/her dinner!
- 4) Check the class schedule for remarks about collars,
leashes and other particulars for the class that you are entering.
- 5) PLEASE BRING CURRENT SHOT RECORDS THE FIRST NIGHT OF
CLASS.
- 6) Bring your dog the first night of class also. Training
will begin after all persons have checked in. Come early to check in
so class can start on time.
These courses cannot be the "be all, end all" of
training. As trainers you must plan to train your dogs every day for
limited periods of time in order to see improvements each week.
